Other. And the reason is that, well, going back and playing as the Empire and Rebels when history was already made in that field is just plain stupid to me. And a major turn-off was that I had to roll for force sensitivity. A major factor for my liking of Star Wars is the Force; I love it. Now, if this site were to go back to a make-your-own-history type, I'd dig it. And if there was a little side history, explaining things, and some major events like, say, the Gree coming from a satellite galaxy and invading, I'm sure I'd love to play, and I'm sure people would come on to play.

Except those types of things never took off. Putting it so far in the future it basically wasn't Star Wars and nobody had any idea what to do. That and having a major plot event requires somebody to have initiative and people didn't seem to want to have one specific thing happen, so the Galactic Civil War is something everyone can identify with.
This is an alternate reality RP, meaning we're forging our own destiny, trying to fit in with canon is just to tedious.
But ultimately I don't think it matters, this site's been doomed since day one and I don't think any amount of changes that I will or have made will help at all
