Change of Timeline/Story?

Like I said, this thing needs a jump start again and it seems that one of the prevailing difficulties of this game is its timeline. It's too open, too much room to move around with. So that's why I propose changing it, which is something I may do anyways, but I wanna see what people think first.

Basically, one of my favourite timelines and probably most people's favourite timelines is the Galactic Civil War era. No, you couldn't play as Darth Vader or anything, but that would definitely help with the tech level side o things and factions and warring etc.

Well i persoanlly think a change of Timeline is a good idea (every Strwars RP i've played has been in the Legacy Era, which gets old fast), and with out a Cannon Timeline, it adds new possiblitys casue we don't need to follow a Timeline which is preset.

IE6...ouch, even IE7 would be better cause then all the transparent stuff would come through. Why are you on IE6 anyways? I thought Windows discontinued that and support for it ages ago?

Internet at my house dosen't want to work, so i have to use the Internet at the Libary, which is about 2 miles away from ware i live.
