You are welcome to brainstorm new ideas though. With the exception of USW, there aren't really any active Star Wars RPs on FM, however the more freestyle, open universe RPs seem to do well

I think it's time for something of our own design. I was thinking maybe something along these lines:
In the distant future, there exists an alliance of planets, colonies of earth mixed with alien species from across the galaxy. But on the outskirts of the alliance, a new coalition of planets is forming, one to challenge the alliance. Fearing this threat, the alliance assembles an elite team, to integrate themselves into the coalition and bring them down from the inside.

Well, USWRPG is the only other active Star Wars RPG, so if you want a RPG go there.... But Darkwing is right, text based RPGs are dying, the only exception is DBZ, they are active especially today with DBZ Kai. And there's simply so many DBZ fanatics, I used to be a absolute fanatic but grew out of it. I realized Star Wars was better, and it is...
I think the problem is that we all are playing ONLY one type of RPG, we need to expand, like play a Fantasy RPG when we get bored of Star Wars then come back here, etc.. I had the same problem, I was getting bored of Star Wars, I played another RPG along with Star Wars, problem solved.

It's a pretty common starter storyline for sci-fi. There's a group of good guys. There's a small group of bad guys rapidly growing in the dark. Good guys are sent in to stop bad guys.
DBZ was something I never personally got into, but it is massively popular. But yeah, looking on the FM directory, only the free-verse ones really do well at all

Final Destiny is like that but there is a base ground to start off of so player's can't go round claiming planets like it's a 99% off sale.

Yes, but they started in 2000 when text based RPs were popular. And one site among many succeeds, that's natural, but back in the day, many more used to be alive but have died when people realized that video games would do the work of their imagination for them

And Wade, Guilds ARE apart of the problem, no one wants to make their own site, so they make crappy single thread RPs...
I loved this site, but it has to end now I guess... I'll be on Ultimate Star Wars and Final Destiny for those who want to see me RP...
